How does a Man Love?
By Cheryl F. Batoon
How does a Man Love?
A Man loves with all of his Heart
A Man feels the intensity of the Heart
A Man has been taught to fight his intuition;
Therefore, a Man focuses on his instincts instead
A Man loves with his mind first
Because he was told that was the only way
A Man is focused on the physical world
Because he was told it was all that existed
However, A Man knows
That the physical world is just an illusion
A Man knows that the Heart is the conclusion
A Man loves with his entire being
A Man knows what this means
A Man focuses on sensations
Because he is attached to the physical;
A Man understands True Love
A Man gravitates to True Love;
However, A Man is reminded to follow his Mate
A Man is pulled down by this weight
A Man struggles with what he was taught and now sees
A Man is healing from all the hurts and wounds
A Man is releasing all he was taught about love or the lack of
A Man, once healed, seeks Balance
A Man always knew of Balance, he just forgot
A Man knows love and once experienced with a Mate
He is vulnerable and he knows it
Once A Man submits to love, his Heart is wide open
A Man loves deeply because he knows it
A Man loves with all his being
A Man knows no other way to BE…

HUMANHOOD
By Cheryl F. Batoon
My Brothers and Sisters, we have discussed what it is to be in Brotherhood and Sisterhood, but I had a friend ask me what about “Humanhood”? Yes, what about Humanhood? Is this really a word? If not, it should be a part of our vocabulary because we are truly Humans living in our Hood of our own making. We are bonded as Humans, not just as Brothers and Sisters.
To be in a state of Humanhood is to live in camaraderie, to live in faith, to live with a knowing that we are all connected. It may be difficult to accept at times because there are those souls that we just do not feel camaraderie with no matter how much we try. Even in those instances, remember the kindness that resides within, remember the unconditional love. This means you have no conditions; however, not everyone is going to believe in you and support you nor do they want you to support them because we may not be of the same soul family in that moment in time. That is OK because the goal here isn’t for everyone to see the exact same things or to even believe in the same Truths. It doesn’t matter how we believe or our Truth because all that matters is LOVE…
Brotherhood and Sisterhood is a bond between those of the same gender or essence. We are talking the Masculine and Feminine energies that reside within each one of us. As we bond with our Brothers and Sisters, we are removing the separation of gender and reengaging the bond that we all have with each other as Humans, Humanhood if you will.
As a bond of Humanhood, kindness, respect, love, and compassion are the layers of feelings that are within our memory cells. These are the emotions and actions that have always resided within. We forget who we are authentically because we are caught up in the Belief Systems (BS) that we have always been taught. When we step back from the teachings and release the need to hold onto the past, we are opening our hearts to the knowing that has existed for millions of years…we are all souls, connected, intertwined, and we are all Children of God. We are not separate from God for God resides within. We are never alone for we are always connected to our Source Energy of ALL, God. We are directly connected to the Universe. The entire Universe is here for us if we just open up to embrace the love that is readily available to us.
Humanhood is a state of being, an existence that we chose. This existence was not chosen for us, we chose it. We decided to come into this world and live the life path that is destined for us by our very choice. God gave us the amazing gift of self-will. A God, that some term as a jealous God, cannot be such for a jealous God would never have given you the gift of self-will. That self-will means you can choose not to love God even though God loves you. Why would a jealous God give you self-will? Why would a vengeful God give you that choice with a knowing that you could “fail” to live up to what you may term God’s expectations for you?
God wants what is for the greater good of you. What is the greater good of you? What do I mean by that? The greater good of you is what brings you the highest state of being, your highest state of joy and happiness.
Humanhood is a gift because this is a “coming together” of all Humans. I believe 2010 is the “Year of the Soul” because 2009 transformed us from just being “Human” to being a “Spirit” living in the Human condition, a true state of being. We were always a Spirit, but we spent too many years with our heads held down, not looking up to the sky, not recognizing the sun and all its glory, not appreciating what Mother Nature has brought to all of us as gifts, and because we were under the veil of delusion and illusion for far too long. 2009 lifted us up from that place where we really didn’t know who we were and are. We have now rediscovered our Authentic Self. The next step is to determine what we are going to do with this newly rediscovered gift of our Authentic Self.
The new calendar year in 2010 is a “Year of the Soul” for me. It is the time when we will move forward as our Authentic Selves, no longer living under a façade, a mask of delusion, and are now reawakening to our soulful connections, our spiritual desires and wants, our knowing that all is about freedom of the heart, freedom of the soul. Once again, Humanhood is the bond we are forming from soul-to-soul leading us closer to our Heaven on Earth…we chose this with our self-will so what are we going to do next? That is all up you, the choice is yours, what are you going to do?
Humanhood: The bonding of Humans, Brothers and Sisters, united to give, serve, and share with self and others, as the true Spiritual, Soulful Beings that we are…
Much blessings and love to you as you live your life, making your choices, and doing your do…bonded in Humanhood…

“My Four-Cornered Room” has been released for publication on Oct. 30, 2009 and available at http://outskirtspress.com/webpage.php?ISBN=9781432748630
My Four-Cornered Room” will take the reader into the realm of the human mind to witness each character’s foray into the deepest darkest depths of the soul to ultimately triumph amidst adversity. The author brings each character alive and you will find yourself crying with them through their pain and sorrow and laughing with them as they celebrate with their soul families. You will experience the richness of the soul amidst the travails of life.
This is a fictional novel that will surprise you with its ability to transcend your experience by delivering a world of reality in the creative form of dreams and fantasies. You will walk the path of each character in the first person as they transition from self into the collective consciousness of the soul family. Each character will take the reader from the “darkness of the soul” to the freedom and triumph of spirit. This is an inspirational, spiritual book that reminds us about unconditional love and compassion for one another as we all learn that we are one within the whole, our soul family.
This is a passage from “My Four-Cornered Room”.
Embrace this space for this is the place of diversity. This is when you are many parts of a whole from multiple dimensions. You are all those many dimensions. You are diversity within you as a whole of the One.
Much like the rainbow,
We are all the beautiful colors,
Much like the sky, we are steadfast and whole,
Much like the stars, we are bright and sparkly,
Much like the moon, we glisten and glow.
We are the sun for we rise each day to greet God
And set each night in gratitude for all;
Both the good and the not so good
Are treasured for all they do for the best of you
Let’s open our eyes to see Love & Light
Let’s open our hearts to embrace the Christ Consciousness
For we are a part of the whole,
We are one with the universe,
We are children of God,
We are in it together.
Each character is intimately portrayed in the reflection of what they see in the mirror. These emotions span the gamut from hate, shame, and guilt, to despair, and anger. These negative emotions create bitterness, anger, and sadness leading to health issues. In the midst of all of this negativity, we are able to see each character rise from the ashes much like the Phoenix…
The reader is guided through the lives of each character as they plan and prepare for a special ceremony that springs forth in the rebirth of the Twin Flame and the true soul family. Each character’s journey to this culmination of a soul bonding event leaves the reader in a place where he/she can take comfort in the beauty that life brings and the promise that “what we put out to the world always comes back.”
The author takes you on a magical trek through the myriad facets of the human mind and heart. The reader will travel with the characters as they plunge into their deepest darkest point of the soul; each character is given a choice, a decision, to turnaround their lives. What will they do? What direction will they go? Will they follow the path of spirit with the light of unconditional love and compassion?
While reading this novel, we are reminded that life may be filled with struggles and challenges; however, through the self-will and choices, one is able to overcome those challenges. As the story develops, the reader will experience the reality of many of the character’s experiences. The author brings clarity and a striking semblance of understanding with each character and ultimately, their choices and decisions. The author takes the reader to a world of fantasy amidst what could only be coined the reality of many.
As we travel through this captivating book, we are carried to the present where we grow and learn with each character as they follow their life path. We observe through these experiences how important people are to our life and our life purpose. We realize that others bring about change and we learn to understand what it means to embrace that change.
The reader is swept away in the throes of intense love and heartbreak to include adultery, lies, deceit, and divorce to the world of online dating and the “games people play”. We are shown how to really love one another and what true love actually means. We experience the rediscovery of the true love, the one, the Twin Flame.
We are taken on a journey of self-discovery within the heart. We are taught how to relearn to love our self in order to truly love another. We understand that the “Union of the Soul within is a reflection in another”. We are then brought forward from the intense love and heartbreak to a place where we rediscover self-love and remember who we really are, our authentic selves. We are living these lives right along with the characters as we visit their world of dreams, desires, fantasies, and wishes on the rainbow of life…these colorful characters show us the love that resides within the heart and is captured within the soul.
The reader is introduced to Derek, a young 17 year old that has been incarcerated for attempted murder. We experience his life through his eyes and words and we are swept up in his pain and anguish. Derek is living in his four-cornered room in every facet. We observe Derek’s internal journey of change through his dialogue with wisdom.
We then meet Teena, a 17 year old with a flair for the dramatic as she struggles with her existence as a young teenage girl caught up in a world of which she feels no real connection. Teena is living within her four-cornered room as well by dwelling on the pain of self-hate. Teena has found her comfort with the “Meth” pipe and her special box that maintains her answers to self-control and empowerment. We follow Teena as she faces her self-hate head on and rediscovers who she really is; her authentic self.
The author then takes us through the life experiences of two people who are spending too much time outside of their four-cornered rooms. They are focused on serving and giving to others while existing within an unbalanced world where they neglect self at the expense of others.
We are introduced to Luis, a 40 year old man that must face a sudden shift in his reality. His wife no longer loves him and has left the family. Luis has three daughters and is left with the burden of facing the world alone as a single parent. Luis opts to commit suicide and is faced with the many demons that have resided within his soul and were of his own making. We follow Luis as he faces one of the deepest darkest moments of the soul; when we are faced with life or death decisions.
Finally we meet Mena. Mena is 45 years old and faced with a life that has been stagnant and reeks of self-disgust and discomfort within one’s own skin. We find Mena living under the veil of delusion for she has spent the last 20 years of her life in a “desert period” where her career and marriage are no longer fulfilling. She is faced with the challenge of rediscovering herself.
The reader follows Mena through her life experiences and her dreams and desires. As we follow Mena along her journey, we see how she has used the Law of Attraction to fulfill her many desires and goals. Mena demonstrates how patience and perseverance have paid off in her life. She shows the reader how with strong desire, we are able to manifest the very dreams and passions we carry in our soul.
This book is a must read for those experiencing the darkness of the soul and seeking an uplifting novel that is truly nourishment for the spirit. This book is also a great read for those who love stories of triumph and great loves as we are taken to a world where fantasies become reality and just a simple dream can manifest and bring so much more than we anticipated. This book is also an adventure that will take you to a special celebration of love that you shall never forget.
You will find these characters rediscovering the unconditional love and compassion that always resided in their hearts. You will witness the transcendence from the 3rd dimensional focus on negativity and drama to a dimensional vibration that embraces joy, happiness, bliss, serenity, and peace.
The author brings all these characters together to a triumphant conclusion that will awaken your soul, reengage your spirit, lift up your vibrations, entrance you with the true love of the heart, and culminate with the reuniting of the true Soul Family.
The setting in this novel could be anywhere as the collective consciousness joins in the reunion of unconditional love and compassion within the soul. The author literally takes us to a place of transcendence to the 5th dimension and beyond.
You will find yourself pondering these questions and more as you relax and begin this spiritual journey. You will laugh, you will cry, you will feel many emotions, but in the end, you will smile and rejoice in “My Four-Cornered Room”…Enjoy.

August 14th, 2009

I awoke this morning with a new perspective on my life’s daily routines. Yes, I strive to be positive, happy, and joyful for I always say to myself what is the alternative? However, I regained a new perspective today. I say regained it for we have always known the significance, it is just a matter of remembering to pay attention and love every now moment.
My new perspective has opened me up to remembering that each moment is to be savored. I have realized that there are days when we go through the motion of life, when certain events are happening as they usually do and we begin to take those events, those moments, for granted. Perhaps this is the perfect space and place to have a new perspective?
When I awaken each morning, my usual routine is to get up and immediately look out my bedroom window. Most days, I see the sky is blue, I feel the sun is out, I hear the birds singing their morning song, and I smell the morning dew, as I observe where the sprinklers have left that same design on the patio. I smile and welcome in this new day. Today, I felt as if I was taking this for granted and at that moment I reminded myself how very blessed I am in this life. My morning pattern, my morning routine is what I love. I asked myself if I didn’t have this same routine, would I miss it and the answer is yes I would…
My new perspective is that I no longer take each moment for granted even if it is something as trivial as glancing out the window to see what kind of day it is, or while brushing your teeth, taking a shower, to dressing, eating, and interacting with others.
When you are interacting with your kids, family members, significant others, co-workers, and any other people in your daily life, you may find yourself going through the motion and taking these routines for granted. Remember that every moment is sacred, every moment is to be honored and respected and each moment is not to be taken for granted. Yes we all believe in sacred moments and more specifically when we are praying, meditating, at church services, family gatherings and events; however, look at all trivial acts as sacred as well for all we do leads to the next thing and the next. We are all in perpetual motion with all the people in our lives, we are connecting the dots, we are moving forward in perfect precision and always with love and compassion…Embrace and love every now moment.
I know that we all know to always be grateful in all things. I know that we all know to appreciate all around us and to thank God, our higher source for all that we have around us; however, today, I say that we gain a whole new perspective and appreciate, love, respect, and pay attention to what is happening right now, no matter how mundane or trivial this moment may be.
Passionately love every now moment of your life with that passion that is the extension of your heart energy. Love each moment not because it could be your last, but because it is the beginning of so much more and more…Your moments are everything.
Every moment is a masterpiece of your making with your higher power. Every interaction with another soul is to be acknowledged, appreciated, with a knowing that you love and have compassion in your heart at all times. Every simple act, simple movement, leads to so much more. Embrace and love all the moments.
Much love and blessings to you today as you go through life passionately loving every moment and regaining a new perspective on life’s daily routines…Peace
